Way back in the fall of 1968 my job calling on Toronto drug stores, had me in the car most of the time.
Larry Solway had a phone in talk show on CHUM in Toronto. He featured themes of the week.
One week he asked married women to phone in if they were currently or had been a prostitute and did their husbands know. For 5 days about three hours a day, an endless stream of women phoned in to say yes they had been or were a prostitute and no their husbands did not know.
50 years later I still vividly recall the horror at how many women admitted to being whores and even bragged about it.
Then despite all that I married one.
